‎The Member Representing Maiduguri Metropolitan Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Abdulkadir Rahis, has facilitated the recruitment of four constituents into the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC).
‎
‎The four beneficiaries, who were selected from different wards within Maiduguri Metropolitan Federal Constituency, have been listed to proceed with the next stage of the recruitment process, which includes mandatory training.
‎
‎Two of the beneficiaries will undertake their training in Kano State, while the remaining two will proceed to Katsina State for their training.
‎
‎The development provides the beneficiaries with an opportunity to begin careers in the Federal Road Safety Corps and contribute to road safety management, accident prevention, public awareness and other responsibilities associated with the service.
‎
‎To ease the logistical challenges associated with travelling outside Maiduguri, Rt. Hon. Abdulkadir Rahis has made arrangements covering transportation, accommodation, feeding and other essential expenses for the four beneficiaries during the training period.
‎
‎The support is intended to enable the beneficiaries to concentrate on their training and complete the required programme without being unduly affected by the financial demands associated with travelling and staying outside the state.
‎
‎Speaking to the beneficiaries before their departure, Rt. Hon. Rahis urged them to approach the training with seriousness and dedication. He advised them to comply with the rules and regulations of the training programme and maintain discipline throughout the period.
‎
‎He also encouraged them to remain focused on their professional development and to understand the responsibilities that come with joining a federal security and road safety institution.
‎
‎The lawmaker further charged the beneficiaries to conduct themselves in a manner that would reflect positively on Maiduguri Metropolitan Federal Constituency, urging them to demonstrate integrity, respect and commitment in the discharge of their duties.
‎
‎He reminded them that securing employment was only the beginning of their professional journey, stressing the importance of acquiring the necessary skills and experience to build sustainable careers in the service.
‎
‎The beneficiaries expressed appreciation to Rt. Hon. Abdulkadir Rahis for facilitating the opportunity and assisting them with the arrangements required for the training.
‎They noted that the provision of transportation, accommodation, feeding and other logistical support would help reduce the financial pressure associated with travelling to Kano and Katsina and allow them to focus on meeting the requirements of the training programme.
‎
‎The development is also expected to provide the beneficiaries with an opportunity to gain professional experience and contribute to road safety and public service upon completion of their training.
‎
‎The four beneficiaries are expected to proceed to their respective training locations in Kano and Katsina as scheduled and commence the required programme.
