North-West Leaders Convene at Inaugural Regional Development Commission Summit in Kaduna

The Regional Development Commission, established to complement the efforts of state and local governments by deepening grassroots democracy through impactful development projects, has held its first North-West Stakeholders’ Summit in Kaduna State.

‎The summit provided a platform for stakeholders to deliberate on practical strategies to accelerate development and ensure the North-West region is not left behind in national progress.

‎Speaking at the event, the Chairman of the occasion and former Vice President of Nigeria, Namadi Sambo, alongside the Minister of Regional Development Commission, Abubakar Momoh, and the Deputy Senate President, Senator Barau Jibril, urged stakeholders across the region to work closely with government at all levels to drive sustainable and inclusive development in the North-West.

‎Participants expressed optimism that the outcomes of the summit would translate into tangible benefits and meaningful progress for the region.
