Hon. Bawu Musami Honoured as Nigeria’s Best Commissioner of Agriculture at National Leadership Awards

‎The Commissioner for Agriculture in Borno State, Hon. Bawu Musami, has been honoured with the prestigious National Leadership Award as the Best Commissioner of Agriculture in Nigeria.

‎The National Leadership Awards, established in 2002, is widely recognised for celebrating outstanding public office holders across various sectors of the economy. Over the years, the award has maintained a reputation for identifying and rewarding excellence, dedication, and impactful leadership in public service.

‎At the award ceremony held in Abuja, Hon. Bawu Musami was represented by Bukar Kurama, the Director of Agricultural Services in the Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources, who received the honour on his behalf.

‎While accepting the award, Bukar Kurama described Hon. Bawu Musami as an energetic and result-driven leader who has tremendously transformed the agricultural sector across the 27 local government areas of Borno State. He noted that under the Commissioner’s leadership, significant strides have been made in improving agricultural productivity, supporting farmers, and strengthening food security in the state.

‎He further emphasized that the recognition is a testament to the Commissioner’s unwavering commitment, innovative policies, and tireless efforts toward revitalising agriculture despite the challenges facing the state.

‎The award highlights Borno State’s growing prominence in agricultural development and underscores the impact of visionary leadership in driving sustainable growth and economic recovery.
