The North-East Development Commission (NEDC) has officially commenced the construction of the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) Borno State Command Office at the CBN Quarters along Damboa Road, Maiduguri.
The commencement followed the formal handover of the project site to the contractor and supervising consultants, signalling the start of construction work. The project is scheduled for completion within six months.
When completed, the facility will provide a permanent office space and ease the accommodation challenges currently faced by the ICPC in Borno State.
Speaking during the ceremony, the NEDC Borno State Coordinator, Engr. Mohammed Umar, urged the contractor to comply strictly with contractual specifications and ensure the timely completion of the project.
