The Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA) has refuted claims that it is currently recruiting.
In a statement issued on Monday, the agency’s spokesperson, George Eno-Ita, described the reports as false and attributed them to fraudsters seeking to exploit unsuspecting Nigerians.
He stressed that the Authority is not conducting any form of recruitment or employment exercise at this time.
“For the avoidance of doubt, the NMDPRA is not undertaking any recruitment at any level,” the statement read. “Any future recruitment will be carried out strictly in line with the established rules and procedures governing employment in the Nigerian Public Service.”
The regulator urged the public to disregard such reports and remain vigilant against fraudulent schemes.
