‎In a statement issued on Tuesday in Damaturu, the Director-General, Press and Media Affairs to the Governor, Alhaji Mamman Mohammed, said Gov. Buni was issued registration number 001, marking the official commencement of the exercise in the state.

‎Mohammed said the process was overseen by the Yobe State Chairman of the APC, Alhaji Mohammed Gadaka, together with other state party officials, to ensure adherence to the party’s guidelines.
‎
‎He explained that the revalidation exercise is intended to update the party’s membership database, strengthen its internal structures and boost grassroots participation ahead of future political engagements.

‎The statement added that the exercise would be extended to all wards and local government areas across the state.
