The North-East Development Commission (NEDC) is taking part in a Study Tour on Strategic Public Leadership and Public-Private Partnership (PPP) collaboration, designed to strengthen Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) frameworks and fast-track national development through exposure to global best practices, with a strong focus on the Singapore development model.
The programme, themed “Towards a Renewed Hope for Sustainable Economic Development,” is currently underway in Singapore and brings together senior public sector stakeholders to examine effective governance systems, institutional efficiency, and successful private sector engagement.
The Commission is represented at the study tour by Dr. Garba Iliya, Executive Director, Administration and Finance, who is attending on behalf of the NEDC.
This engagement aligns with the Commission’s broader strategic objectives of enhancing institutional capacity, attracting investments, and promoting sustainable socio-economic development across the North-East region.
