Dangote Refinery Cuts Petrol Prices Again

‎‎Dangote Petroleum Refinery and Petrochemicals has announced a reduction in its petrol prices, lowering the gantry price to ₦1,200 per litre and the coastal price to ₦1,153 per litre.
‎The disclosure was made on Thursday in a statement by the company’s spokesperson, Anthony Chijiena, to DAILY POST.

‎According to the statement, the 650,000 barrels-per-day refinery reduced its petrol price by ₦85, bringing it down from ₦1,285 per litre to the new rate of ₦1,200 per litre.

‎This latest price cut follows a series of at least five increases implemented by the refinery since March 2026, largely influenced by ongoing tensions in the Middle East.

‎The adjustment represents a downward review in the refinery’s pricing structure and is expected to impact fuel supply costs across the distribution chain, including depots and retail outlets.
