A prominent political figure, Muktar Betara Aliyu, OON (MBA), has officially flagged off All Progressives Congress (APC) campaign activities ahead of the 2027 General Elections, calling on his constituents to remain united, resolute and committed to the political journey ahead.
Speaking during the flag-off ceremony held earlier today, MBA expressed profound appreciation to his people for their unwavering support, trust and solidarity over the years, describing their steadfast commitment as a major source of strength and inspiration.
He also commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for his continued support and commitment to the development of the people and the country at large.
MBA particularly acknowledged the Federal Government’s approval of the Biu–Gombe Dual Highway Project, describing it as a significant intervention that would enhance connectivity, stimulate economic activities and create greater opportunities for communities along the route.
He, however, appealed to President Tinubu to give favourable consideration to the rehabilitation and transformation of the Biu–Damaturu Road, which he described as a critical route connecting the people to Maiduguri and other parts of the region.
According to him, upgrading the road would provide immense relief to commuters and residents while contributing significantly to regional economic growth and development.
As the campaign journey towards 2027 officially commenced, MBA urged his supporters and constituents to maintain their support for President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice President Senator Kashim Shettima.
At the state level, he called for support for the incoming Governor, Engr. Mustapha Gubio FNSE, as well as Senator Mohammed Ali Ndume and himself.
The response from the people, he noted, was clear, resounding and encouraging, reflecting their continued commitment to the political movement.
MBA stressed that the journey ahead would require unity, courage and collective commitment, assuring supporters that greater achievements could be recorded through cooperation and shared purpose.
“Together, we can achieve more. Together, the journey becomes easier. And together, we will always win,” he said.
