PUBLIC NOTICE ON THE CURRENT POWER SUPPLY INTERRUPTION IN SOME PARTS OF BORNO STATE
The Borno State Ministry of Transport and Energy wishes to inform the general public of the recent disruption in electricity supply across parts of the State, occasioned by a setback on the grid transmission network serving our electricity supply cluster. The Maiduguri Emergency Power Plant has also been down due to a technical fault and currently undergoing repairs.
In view of the above, the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN), in collaboration with Yola Electricity Distribution Company (YEDC), is working tirelessly to resolve the situation and restore normal supply soonest.
While these efforts are ongoing, the Ministry appeals to members of the public to remain vigilant and cooperative in safeguarding all electricity installations and infrastructure within or around their communities.
The Ministry appreciates the patience and understanding of the good people of Borno State while assurring the public that restoration efforts are currently ongoing towards immediate closure.
