The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the North East Development Commission (NEDC), Alhaji Mohammad G Alkali, has continued to make remarkable contributions toward the development and empowerment of people in Borno State. Through his visionary leadership and commitment to rebuilding the North-East, he has touched countless lives across the state.
One of his most significant impacts has been in the area of job creation. By initiating and supporting various employment schemes, many youths and families have been provided with sustainable means of livelihood. In addition to job opportunities, he has facilitated access to startup capital, enabling beneficiaries to establish and grow their own businesses.
Above all, his strong emphasis on human capital development stands out. Through training programs, skill acquisition initiatives, and capacity-building efforts, individuals have been equipped with the knowledge and tools necessary to become self-reliant and contribute meaningfully to society.
